Next, students made a purse, a belt and/or a bracelet with a button to make taking off and on the bracelet easy.
Next, I borrowed some stuffed animals from my colleagues with small kids and they were tasked to make clothes for them.
The finale for the unit was a challenge to use paper forms to make a vest.

The students were so proud of their creations...they insisted on taking the finished vests home that very day.
One student even added a pocket for markers and two flower decorations on either side.
