Meet Murch Artist Lucy

1. What is your name, grade
Lucy, first grade (Ms. Werner)
2. What art media (materials) do you like to work in and why?
Markers, colored pencils, paint, and crayons. I like using a lot of color.
3. Where do you get your ideas for new art?
Nature--flowers, animals, plants--and monuments.
4. Who is your favorite artist and why?
Vincent van Gogh, because he had a lot of imagination, so it is beautiful artwork—and sometimes night is starry.

Getting to make clay bowls!
6. Tell us about the best piece of art you've ever made.
My best piece is really a series: pictures of Washington monuments and the cherry blossoms in spring.

Note from Ms. Cutelis: First let me apologize for the lateness on posting this. Life has been very crazy in the Cutelis household, so please forgive me. I did get one other entry but I cannot seem to find it in my emails. If you are the person who sent that second entry, please forgive me as well and resend me the email please. Thanks for your understanding in advance. Also, If you are still interested in having YOUR child highlighted read the instructions and send along your child's answers and 3 pics. Looking forward to highlighting your artist on this blog.....
