Meet Murch Artist Lucy
1. What is your name, grade
Lucy, first grade (Ms. Werner)
2. What art media (materials) do you like to work in and why?
Markers, colored pencils, paint, and crayons. I like using a lot of color.
3. Where do you get your ideas for new art?
Nature--flowers, animals, plants--and monuments.
4. Who is your favorite artist and why?
Vincent van Gogh, because he had a lot of imagination, so it is beautiful artwork—and sometimes night is starry.
5. What has been the most exciting experience in art at Murch?
Getting to make clay bowls!
6. Tell us about the best piece of art you've ever made.
My best piece is really a series: pictures of Washington monuments and the cherry blossoms in spring.
Note from Ms. Cutelis: First let me apologize for the lateness on posting this. Life has been very crazy in the Cutelis household, so please forgive me.
