Thanks to Paul Spence, Murch dad and owner of W.Curtis Draper Tabacconist, who donated 3 giant black bags full of cigar boxes, the first graders began their work in decorating their Joseph Cornell-inspired works. Here they are drying after gluing images that symbolized aspects of themselves. Next week they will add small meaningful objects that also represent them. Check back soon to see our progression.
